This is International Festival of Documentary Movies, Tourism and Ecology. It takes place in September. The festival is a competitive event for both domestic and international artists active in the field of short fiction, documentary and short film. The festival is held in Pale.
The Festival began when during the war a group of film enthusiasts decided to revive culture in their besieged city. Though in the middle of military activity, the group fought for the survival of cultural life. After the war the Festival became a manifest of the cosmopolitan nature of the city.

This is a summer festival of culture held in the month of July. Every year, Baščaršija Nights events range from opera shows through theater performances to popular music concerts and literary readings. It includes children's programs, film evenenings and has featured international stars.
GuitarUnited - Guitar Fest Sarajevo East was founded with an aim of promotion and growth of the art of the guitar and music in general, through gathering and interplay of the performers, teachers, students and audiences. The Festival is held in the month of October.
